We are a Parent Partnership Program where parents of home schooled children and teachers from the Deer Park School District work together to define the educational goals and materials our parents and students use at home. The first session of Home Link started in September 2000 with 38 students. Today, we have over 500 students. We also provide core and supplemental classes at our Deer Park and Clayton campuses.

Drop off your children and then come inside for a 30 min multiplication class by your student’s teacher...you’ll be learning the tips that your student learns, and can do follow through coaching at home. Sound good?

It's time to start the application process for next year’s Running Start options through EWU and the Spokane Community Colleges. To help you in that process, we will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 7 in the Science room, Deer Park campus, from 3:15 – 4 pm. Parents and students who are juniors or seniors next year, should plan to attend. Also, there will be a Running Start Information Night at EWU on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, starting at 6:30 PM in the JFK Library auditorium.

Please check out the posters on the FREE Vaccination Clinic, available to all in the greater Spokane community. That’s YOU, if you’re interested!

To parents of piano students: Dan Kennedy, a solo piano recording artist and teacher from Mass. will be in our piano classes next Tuesday, March 6th. If your children's piano classes are not on Tuesday, they can still attend a Tuesday session to take advantage of this visiting artist. Please check your boxes for complete information. Pretty cool opportunity – many thanks, Carol VanWormer!

Any final thoughts towards a Mission Statement for the Family Room(s) on each campus? Well, get them in (to the bright box, in each room)!

Many thanks for your outpouring of clothing, and household items of all sorts- bags upon bags of your generosity rolled through the school to Value Village, and into the coffer of funds earmarked for Washington D.C. Those students are taking a little of you with them! Thanks, dear ones!
