We are a Parent Partnership Program where parents of home schooled children and teachers from the Deer Park School District work together to define the educational goals and materials our parents and students use at home. The first session of Home Link started in September 2000 with 38 students. Today, we have over 500 students. We also provide core and supplemental classes at our Deer Park and Clayton campuses.

Huge thank you to Kathy Starr, and all contributors involved in last week’s Crafts Fair. Good to see so many turn-out for the event!

Huge compliments - almost all of you have submitted your December progress reports- WHOA, that’s a feat! Thank you for your thoughtfulness - your consultant rejoices!

Ernest Hemingway wrote a short story called, ‘The Capital of the World.’ In it, a father longs to see a son whom he’s estranged from. So the father places an advertisement in the newspaper, stating: “Paco, meet me at the Hotel Montana at noon on Tuesday. All is forgiven! Love, Papa.” That next Tuesday, 800 young men named Paco arrive at the Hotel Montana, each hopeful for reunion and forgiveness. During this busy Christmas season, ponder afresh the everlasting love that has been given to us, and is within us. Extend it to another. Perhaps the greatest gift any of us could give this Christmas would be the gift of restoration and forgiveness to a Paco in our lives. What a happy Christmas would reign! Till we see you dear ones again…may your days be merry and bright!
